Level 5 Terms & Conditions

The journey of your Level 5 or Level 7 certification gives you the in-depth knowledge to attain a recognised UK qualification to apply for a job in the aesthetics realm.  Should the current UK laws change to govern the administration of such injectables, you wouldn’t be affected to carry out such treatments as you have attained this qualification.

Making a commitment to starting this course we suggest you seriously consider the following:

  • Have you got the time to dedicate to the reading, writing assignments and following our suggested time frame?
  • What reasons are you doing this course for?

Learning can be fun! Striving for further qualifications is extremely empowering. It shows you have the will power, ability and dedication to invest back into yourself. Twelve months soon passes by and obtaining a recognised qualification in this area will set you apart from the rest.

If you want to be the best at what you do, you need the knowledge and qualifications to do so.

TRAINING AND SUPPORT

Once you begin your course, you will be allocated set dates which your assignments and modules must be completed by.  You will also be given set dates each month to have a zoom with your tutor.  Each of our students are allocated a time slot on a set day which will have been confirmed by both parties for the zoom to go ahead.

These dates need to be made a priority for you to attend.  In the event of you not being able to attend the zoom meeting, you must cancel with 48 hours notice by emailing to  [email protected].  Please include your full name, the date of the zoom and time it was scheduled for.

This allows the training school to reschedule your zoom to the next available date that week, ensuring you receive all the support you need.

Failure to comply with attending your zoom meeting without giving 48 hours notice, or not showing up as agreed, will result in you missing out on that months zoom.  Your tutor will then contact you via email or phone call to book your zoom for the following month.

Each student is allocated eight zoom meetings throughout the duration of the course. The purpose of this is to enable you to ask any questions and review the work you have submitted, giving you the opportunity to seek as much support as you need.

If you are unable to carry out a zoom meeting and would like to opt for a phone call instead, please email the training academy to notify the tutor with your full name, time and date of the scheduled meeting and mobile number and they will contact you via phone call, text message or email.

Each appointment scheduled is time dedicated for you, therefore you must ensure you start the meeting on the agreed time.  If you have not joined your zoom, or answered your phone call, within 15 minutes of the original start time you will have missed the allocated time slot and the opportunity for that monthly meeting will be lost.

We are here to help you gain your qualification and keep the momentum of your training consistent, so it’s important to try to stick to the structure above and keep attending your zooms.  That way the tutor can keep track of your needs and assist you when needed.

EXTRA TUTOR SUPPORT

All the answers to the modules and assignments are within the reading manuals provided in the training portal.

Should you need assistance with any of the written work, please email your tutor with the questions you need help with, and you will be responded to within 48 hours. This response from the Tutor can be expected Monday through to Friday but excludes weekends, national and bank holidays.

All phone calls, emails and texts made to you regarding zoom meetings, or any queries, will be logged on your learning profile so we have a full record of any correspondence the school have made to you.

COVID RULES

Practical days are allocated at different times throughout a student’s course, dependant on your availability and the tutors discretion.  This ensures it will be the right time for you to get the best understanding and practical experience possible.

If you have COVID 19 or a strain of the virus, and are unable to attend your practical dates, you will need to provide evidence to the training academy.  This should be a photograph of your full face, time and date stamped, showing you holding a positive flow test.  This should then be emailed to the training school as soon as possible with your name and the dates of any practical dates you will not be able to attend.

Failure to notify the training academy on your allocated practical days will result in a £500 cancellation fee.  You will be rescheduled to the next available practical dates, however, this may be out of your set time frame of completing the course which will incur further costs for yourself.

Should you need to reschedule your practical dates, the training academy require two weeks’ notice given via email with a full explanation as to why you cannot attend.

In the event of an illness, you will be granted a reschedule free of charge, providing you email the training academy with a letter from your GMC registered doctor stating the dates and the reasons for your absense.

If you turn up more than more than 30 minutes from the start time of your practical course you will not be permitted to join the course, and further costs to reschedule will apply.

Everyone who makes up the team is polite and respectful and in return we want that commitment back from you.

You are purchasing a course that has to be fully compliant with set standards allowing you to gain the qualification or accreditation in the course you have booked onto.

This is assessed by the teachers to observe that by the end of the course you can carry out any practical treatments unaided. This will include being able to answer questions with good understanding and knowledge.

Failure to not carry out the number of treatments set out for you on your course, not being able to carry out a practical treatment unaided. Means that you will NOT get a pass and become qualified in that area of treatment which will mean you have failed the course and no certification will be issued at the end of the course.

This is to ensure the members of the public are safe from ill experienced practitioners and that standards of service within the industry and our training academies are kept to a competent level.

BOTH theory and practical need to be carried out to a confident level and become self assured to demonstrate that you have the ability to work on a treatment with no involvement from your tutor on the last part of your course.

In the event you do not pass and get qualified, you’re welcome to come back to revisit the course at the reduced cost of 50% discount from the full price of the course you have not passed on.

We will support all your needs to get you accredited and qualified but you need to be honest with knowing your true capabilities.

There will be no refunds issued in the event of any of our courses not being completed and passed.

If you cancel your course 7 days before attending, even though you have paid in full, you will have to pay an additional amount of 50% to be able to book onto another course. This is because training staff and a set amount of models have been allocated to support your training course and have been allocated for you. This is an expense to Ampika’s Aesthetics which will be passed onto yourself as you are responsible for not attending.

Should a medical emergency take place with sufficient proof shown to support your cancellation then the above will be waived.
